Professional Networking: Put Relationships In Context – whether in person or online

I know I sound like a broken record with this advice but professional networking is the “killer app” for ongoing dynamic career growth.

In this video, I discuss putting relationships in context. Handing out business cards or clicking and accepting “friend” requests, does not constitute effective networking.

Be Proactive! Be Positive! Add Value! Share Opportunity!

Remember the above mantra. It will serve you well in networking. If you are proactive in your connections (don’t wait for the other guy/girl), are a positive person, add value to people’s lives and share opportunity with your network, there is a good chance you’ll be remembered positively.
